Carefully Planned are very pleased to be supporting the Thirty One Songs project for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). Suicide being the single biggest killer of men under the age of 35 in the UK and 75% of all suicides are male. CALM is a registered UK charity which aims to reduce this and provide support for those suffering from mental illness or depression. CALM promotes and delivers a free, confidential, anonymous helpline and website targeted at young men, though CALM will listen to anybody who needs advice or support, regardless of age, gender or geographic location.
Currently the CALM helpline [0800 585858] is open 4 nights a week every week of the year. All proceeds from the sale of the album will go to fund this vital resource for 7 nights a week all year round. Depression, or thoughts of a suicidal nature are not defined to any given night of the week.
