JESUS KNIEVEL
Jesus Knievel got together early 2007 after drummer Richie return from six months in India eager to start up some music again. Long time friend and collaborator Stephen Morris was looking for a new band at the time and together with Bass player Pete Smyth joined forces to create some initially improvised – jam based music that quickly developed into a distinctive energetic alternative rock style.
The band started writing, recoding and gigging at a fast pace and had finished their first album – “Toys” within a year whilst regularly gigging around the greater Manchester area.
The second album – “We’ve Travelled Through Time” came a year later in 2009 with the band developing their repertoire further.
In 2010 the band took a break from gigging for the most part whilst they wrote their third album. They are currently recording the new album and are ready to start playing live again…
